You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck or unsure about what comes next.
You may be going through change, grief, a relationship breakdown or simply feeling disconnected from yourself.
Or maybe nothing is particularly wrong.
Maybe you just need some time that is actually yours.
Horses have a way of bringing us into the present.
They respond to what is happening in the moment and can help us become more aware of how we communicate, set boundaries, build trust and respond when things don’t go to plan.
There is no judgement and no pressure to have the right answer.
Sometimes simply slowing down beside a horse gives us space to notice something we have been too busy to see.
Every experience is a little different because every person is different.
You may spend time quietly with the horses, groom or interact with them, take part in simple ground-based activities, enjoy guided relaxation, reflect or talk.
Everything is done on the ground. There is no riding.
There is no pressure to perform and no requirement to talk about anything you don’t want to.
I created Wallford Park because I believe people don’t always need more advice.
Sometimes they need enough space to hear themselves again.
My approach is practical, honest and personal.
I’m not here to tell you what you should do. I’m here to listen, ask questions, help you see things from another angle and create a space where you can reconnect with yourself.
The horses help us slow everything down.
And sometimes that is exactly what we need.
Everything we do at Wallford Park is guided by four simple values:
Meeting people with compassion and kindness, without judgement.
Respecting each person’s story, choices and individual journey.
Creating an environment where people can feel safe enough to be themselves and move at their own pace.
Respect for people, horses, boundaries and the right of both people and horses to have choice in every interaction.
These values shape how we work, how we care for our horses and the kind of experience we want every person to have when they come to Wallford Park.
The horses are at the heart of Wallford Park.
Each one has their own personality, quirks and way of connecting with people.
Some are curious. Some are quiet observers. Some take a little more time to trust.
That is part of the experience.
Nothing is forced. We allow connection to happen naturally.
Indy is a 27-year-old mare with a big personality and an even bigger presence.
As the undisputed queen of the herd, she keeps everyone in line with her signature sass and quiet confidence. Retired for the past four years, Indy now enjoys a slower pace of life, spending her days relaxing, grazing, and ruling her domain with effortless charm.
Amber, known as the “Barbie Princess” of the herd, she carries herself with grace and quiet confidence, proudly holding her place just beneath the queen.
But beyond her beauty, Amber is something truly special—she is my heart horse in every sense. With a deep, unspoken bond between her and I, she offers a connection that goes far beyond words. Gentle, loyal, and endlessly soulful, Amber isn’t just part of the herd—she’s part of my heart.
Bull is the quirky character of the herd, full of personality and individuality.
He’s selective about who he lets into his world, keeping his circle small and his trust hard-earned. But for those lucky enough to gain it, Bull’s loyalty runs deep—once you’re in, you’re in for life. With his unique charm and strong sense of self, he’s a truly special soul who leaves a lasting impression.
Doc is Indy’s son, has certainly inherited his mother’s signature sass.
Full of personality, he’s always quick to let you know if dinner is even a minute late. While he knows his place within the herd, he’s not afraid to speak his mind, adding a bit of cheeky charm to daily life. With his bold nature and expressive attitude, Doc keeps things lively and entertaining.
Bundy is the baby of the herd, bringing a playful and cheeky energy wherever he goes.
Full of curiosity and mischief, he keeps everyone on their toes—but behind that spirited nature is a truly loving and kind soul. Affectionate and gentle, Bundy has a way of winning hearts, making him a cherished part of the herd.
